Making educational toys accessible
Hi, my name is Kristina. Originally from Germany, I am fortunate to call Australia my home, raising my 2 beautiful girls with my partner in Bondi.
I started my business out of a personal need. During a trip to Europe I asked my European friends which toys to buy for my girls - everyone pointed me to the Talking Pen. I tried it and was absolutely convinced - but why was this concept not available in Australia?
I am such a fan of the Talking Pen as it ticks all my boxes as a busy mom: It is screen-free, educational entertainment which encourages my little ones to hours of self-play while teaching them many important skills such as concentration and fine motor skills. It is also sustainable - the pen is reachargeable and after buying the pen once, it is compatible with all Tolki products.
I partnered with one of the major European Talking pen players, Albi, to develop the Australian line-up. What a fun and at times challenging learning journey! Albi and I are committed to keep innovating and to ensure that Australian families have access to all the best products.
