The Starter Set is expensive. Is it worth it?

The Starter Sets include the magical electronic pen.

You only need to buy the pen once, it will work across all Tolki books and stickers. We will replace it if it has any defects (that are not due to improper usage), so it should last for years and years and grow with your child!

The pen is also rechargeable, meaning no additional costs for batteries.

What functionalities does the pen have?

The pen has 3 buttons: Turn on/off, 'Repeat and volume control

The pen also has an outlet for the charger plus an outlet for headphones
(headphones are not included)

The pen can also record and store sound for the Tolki stickers

How do I record onto a sticker?

There is detailed instructions in your sticker set

In short: it is very quick and only requires your pen and a sticker

Step 1: Touch the 'Recording' icon on the sticker (red circle)

Step 2: After you hear a 'beep', touch the 'OK' icon on the sticker and start recording

Step 3: After you finish recording, touch the 'OK' icon again

Step 4: Touch the 'Play' icon (green circle) to listen to your recording

How do I upload book content on the pen?

If your pen has an issue when it arrives, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with a description and 2-3 photos of the issue on info@tolkipen.com.auay so we can make things right!

If the damage happens later, please contact us and again, describe the issue and send a few pictures. We will replace defect pens as long as the defect does not stem from improper use of the product

Stickers make bedtime so special!

I bought the Starter Set mainly for the stickers (there is a competitor product but its more expensive and without book), and they are amazing! So easy to record, great sound quality! Our family is overseas but they sent voice recordings on whatsapp which we now incoroporate in the bedtime routine! Everyone reads one page of his favorite book and his eyes light up everytime he hears nana and the uncles! We get a lot of use out of the book too (nice bonus). Can highly highly recommend!

Screen-Free quiet time

I was looking for an alternative to the screens to keep my 4-year old entertained when we are out in restaurants etc. This works so well! I mean, over 900 sounds in the animal book, this keeps him going for a while! I love his proud look when he explains the animal names to me. Finally something that keeps him entertained but is also good for him. I will be buying this for his cousins too!

Pricey but worth it!

I was hesitant due to the high price point, but can now see just how much use my son will get out of it! We love both the stickers (now nana reads the bedtime story) and the 'First Colours and Shapes' book has helped him to learn new words. I love that he learns while he plays! Fully convinced, just taking off one star for the high price
